Ellington, CT: The USAC Dirt Midget Association crowned the series champion this past Saturday night during the Bear Ridge Speedway awards banquet. The banquet room at the Lake Morey Resort in Fairlee, VT was full with over three hundred in attendance to take part in the evening’s festivities. The event was hosted by the owners and promoters of the speedway, Butch Elms and April May Preston and the Master of Ceremonies was Mark Hann, Director of Business Development for Seals-it and Public Relations for the USAC DMA. Guest speaker for the event was Dr. Dick Berggren, President of the Racing History Preservation Group (RHPG).

Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park Releases Innovative 2015 Short Track Schedule
Thompson, CT – Officials from Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park (TSMP) – the famed 5/8-mile speedway in Connecticut’s quiet corner – released a creative and innovative seven (7) event schedule today, featuring twelve different touring series and sanctioning bodies, and boasting over $500,000 in posted awards. Two weekend events, and a five event Wednesday summer series – with four rain dates – make up the calendar. The schedule is highlighted by four NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour (NWMT) events, two new Triple Crown Series, and significant enhancements to the Sunoco World Series of Speedway Racing.
“A lot of effort went into taking a fresh look at the schedule, and providing the best events we could for our race teams and fans. We have some traditional fan favorites that will return, and we have made some valuable additions to complement that core. Hillcross debut at Granite Gorge launches new era for East Coast Snocross,

Clarksburg, Mass. (Dec. 1, 2014) — Sanctioned snowmobile racing in New England resumes this Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 6-7, as East Coast Snocross (ECS) kicks off its fifth season with the debut of Hillcross competition at the beautiful Granite Gorge ski area on Rte. 9 in Roxbury Center, New Hampshire.
Spectator gates open at 9 a.m. each day. Admission is $15 per day for adults, with weekend passes available for $25. Children age 7 and under will be admitted free with a paying adult. Pit passes valid through the weekend are available for an extra $10.

Serie ACT Announces 12 Event 2015 Schedule
Waterbury, VT – American Canadian Tour officials have announced a twelve (12) event schedule for the 2015 Serie ACT Quebec season, including several combination events with the ACT U.S. series. The 12 event schedule features events at six (6) different tracks including a special Triple Crown series at Airborne Speedway in Plattsburgh, NY.

ACT Will Visit 11 Different Tracks in 2015
Waterbury, VT – The American Canadian Tour Late Models will visit 11 different tracks throughout New England, New York and Quebec during the 13 event 2015 season. Officials have announced the schedule, which will kick off on Sunday, April 12 at Lee USA Speedway in Lee, NH and crown a champion on Saturday, October 17 at Thompson Speedway in Thompson, CT.
The ACT Late Models visit two new tracks in 2015. ACT will run their first ever point counting events at Autodrome Chaudiere in Vallee-Jct., QC as a doubleheader with PASS in September and the Late Models will visit Thompson for the first time ever to conclude the season in October.
ACT will also return to Oxford Plains Speedway in Oxford, ME for two events after a several year hiatus. The April Oxford event will be the inaugural ACT/PASS doubleheader event, while the June event will be a stand alone ACT race. Airborne Speedway in Plattsburgh, NY will be the only other venue to host two events in 2015. The schedule is highlighted by trips to Thunder Road in Barre, VT, Speedway 51 (formerly Riverside Speedway in Groveton, NH), Devil’s Bowl Speedway in West Haven, VT, White Mountain Motorsports Park in North Woodstock, NH, Beech Ridge Motor Speedway in Scarborough, ME and Circuit Riverside Speedway in St-Croix, QC.
The 2015 season will also feature several non-point counting special events. The first will be this February 16-17, when the stars of ACT head to New Smyrna Speedway in New Smyrna Beach, Florida for the American Racer Twin 100s. Other special events include the ACT International at Airborne, which will see doubleheader 200s with the PASS series, the 7th Annual Bond ACT Invitational at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon, NH and the 53rd running of the Milk Bowl at Thunder Road in Barre, VT.

THOMPSON SPEEDWAY MOTORSPORTS PARK ANNOUNCES ACT WILL JOIN WORLD SERIES EVENT 2015 ACT CHAMPION TO BE CROWNED
Waterbury, VT –Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park (TSMP) in Connecticut and the American Canadian Tour (ACT), based in Waterbury, VT have agreed that the 2015 ACT Championship Late Model stock car season will crown the ACT Champion at the famed Thompson World Series event on Saturday, October 17, 2015. ACT will join over 15 other divisions at TSMP in a year-end celebration for both fendered and open wheeled race cars.

PASS Finalizes 2015 South Super Late Model And Pro Late Model Dates
CHARLOTTE, NC (November 24) – Pro All Stars Series (PASS) officials announced today that the 2015 schedules have been finalized for both the PASS South Super Late Model and PASS Pro Late Model divisions. With 15 dates confirmed, including a final event to be added in October, the PASS South Super Late Models will compete at 11 different venues in 4 states over the course of the 2015 season.
“Due to some circumstances out of our control, we had to move a couple of dates around and wanted to get our schedule finalized as quickly as possible so our teams can start planning for next year,” said PASS President Tom Mayberry. “We believe this is one of the strongest schedules we have ever put together and are excited about the possibilities 2015 presents for the South’s top Super and Pro Late Models.”

North East Motor Sports Museum Announces Release of “A History of Auto Racing in New England”
