Winchester, NH: This past weekend, Monadnock Speedway was a victim of rain postponing the highly anticipated event of the Town Fair Tire Whitcomb 175 featuring the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour. The decision was made my NASCAR officials and Monadnock Speedway management on Friday to postpone the Saturday show to July 27th due to the inclement weather forecasted.

Pennink Looks To Continue Thompson Success This Sunday

Canaan, NH. — Huntingdon Valley, PA, modified driver Rowan Pennink knows the way to victory lane at Thompson International Speedway. He’s won three races at the famed Connecticut oval and will be looking for his second straight win there when the Valenti Modified Racing Series swings into Thompson, this Sunday afternoon, May 19, for the first of three scheduled 75-lap events this season. Pennink won the May and October races last year.

Sprint Cars At Legion Speedway

The Legion Speedway in Wentworth NH welcomed the Sprint Cars of New England, or SCoNE, to the quarter-mile dirt oval on Mother’s Day. They were joined by the Speedway’s four regular divisions. The title sponsor for the evening was Sabrena’s Creative Styles of Northfield, NH.

Kenseth Outlasts Rain and Competition For Wild PASS South Win At South Boston

SOUTH BOSTON, VA (May 11) – Ross Kenseth took the lead from Trey Mitchell on what proved to be the final restart of the night and was up front when it counted to win the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) South Super Late Model event at Virginia’s South Boston Speedway. In a race plagued by a constant threat of rain, Kenseth’s third career PASS South Super Late Model victory came when the event was finally halted eight laps short of the finish due to a brief shower. Kenseth becomes the ninth different winner in nine PASS South events held at South Boston dating back to 2006.

AAA Hometown Heroes starts up this week at Seekonk Speedway, along with Little League night

For the third consecutive season, AAA Hometown Heroes will kick off at The Action Track of the East. On Saturday,
May 18, the series will allow fans from a handful of towns and cities in southern New England a chance to catch the
action for FREE.

It is also our annual Little League night, allowing boys and girls from any town free admission, as long as they are
wearing their uniforms.

More Motor Events Schedules for CFS in 2013

May 12, 2013 – CFS is pleased to announce its most recent additions to the 2013 Motor Sports Schedule of events. In addition to the Stock Car Specials and Monster Nationals previously announce CFS is now adding 2 Demolition and Full contact events. Both events will take place on long weekends including an event on the Canada Day Weekend on June 29th and Labour Day Weekend on August 31st.

Bear Ridge Speedway Event Rained Out

USAC Dirt Midgets return next week

BRADFORD, VT –Persistent showers, heavy at times, forced the cancellation of R&M Automotive night at Bear Ridge Speedway in Bradford, VT on Saturday.

Up this Saturday is Vermont Food Bank Benefit Night for the ROCK99 Weekly Racing Series. The card will be jam-packed with the weekly Bond Auto Parts DIRTcar Sportsman Modified, Wells River Chevrolet Sportsman Coupe, Laquerre’s Sports Limited Late Model, Weglarz Property Service Fast Four, and KDD NAPA Auto Parts Hornet divisions, plus the USAC Dirt Midget Association all in competition.

Racing continues this Saturday, May 18th and every Saturday through September at Vermont’s only Dirt Track. Admission for Vermont Food Bank Benefit night is $10 for adults (age 18-61), $8 for teens (12-17) and seniors (62+), and $2 for children; Visa and MasterCard are accepted. Racing begins at the famous “6:00-ish” start time.

Bear Ridge Speedway is located on Kidder Road in Bradford, VT, just off Exit 16 on Interstate 91.
