Ingles Performance announces plans for 2016-2017 snocross season
PHOENIX, N.Y. (Nov. 4, 2016) – After fielding riders in both national and regional snocross competition the past two winters, one of New York’s top snowmobile race teams is focusing its efforts on the big stage for 2017.
Multi-time champions Ingles Performance will race full-time on the International Series of Champions’ (ISOC) AMSOIL Championship Snocross (ACS) series in 2016-17. The team notched its third straight Pro Open title last winter on the New England-based East Coast Snocross series. (more…)

Butcher to be Crowned Pro Stock Tour Champion at Banquet in Charlottetown Saturday
(Halifax, NS – November 8, 2016) The Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour will return to Prince Edward Island on Saturday to officially close the 2016 stock car racing season with their annual Awards Gala. The Delta Prince Edward in Charlottetown will play host to the event for the third time in series history after hosting the year ending show in 2010 and 2011.

Glen Luce wins PASS Super Late Model finale, DJ Shaw wraps up series Championship
Ryan Robbins wins PASS Modified race and title, Street Stock Open win for Calvin Rose, Jr.
Oxford, Maine – Glen Luce of Turner earned a trip to victory lane the hard way, driving from 29th starting position to victory lane Saturday on Pro All Stars Series North Super Late Model Championship Day at Oxford Plains Speedway.
Luce ran afoul of tech inspectors after a heat race and was forced to the consolation rounds, where he charged from the back of the field to finish fifth. He made most of his progress during a 100-plus lap green flag stretch in the remarkably-competitive race.

Joey Polewarczyk nails down third PASS North victory in Make A Wish 150 at Star Speedway
Epping, New Hampshire – Joey Polewarczyk, Jr. of Hudson, New Hampshire earned his third Pro All Stars Series North Super Late Model victory of the season Friday night in the twice-postponed Make A Wish 150 at Star Speedway in Epping, New Hampshire.
Probably better known near and far as ‘Joey Pole Junior,’ Polewarczyk started the race in 13th position, methodically working his way through the field to take the lead away from Joey Doiron of Berwick, Maine in the JBJ Machine 73. Doiron had led most of the 150-lap race after taking the lead away from early leader Todd Stone of Middlebury, Vermont at the event’s quarter pole.

Rowan Pennink Closing In On Second Consecutive SK Modified® Track Championship at Stafford Motor Speedway
(Stafford Springs, CT)—With the 2016 season in its closing stages at Stafford Speedway, defending SK Modified® track champion Rowan Pennink and the #99 Van Wickle Auto Supply / Independent Wheel team are closing in on securing back to back championships. He enters this Friday night’s SK Modified® feature event with a 68 point lead over Keith Rocco and an 86 point margin over third place Ted Christopher.
In order to clinch the track title for the second year in a row, all Pennink will need to do is finish in the top-9. In the 15 SK Modified® feature events run this season, Pennink has recorded 14 top-10 finishes and his worst finish of the season has been 11th. So while on paper it might seem like an easy task, Pennink says that he and the #99 team are focused on putting the car into NAPA Victory Lane for the 7th time this season, which would put an exclamation point on the season. Stafford Speedway Hosting 2016 Legend Cars Asphalt Nationals Qualifier As Part of NAPA Auto Parts Fall Final Weekend
(Stafford Springs, CT)—When the checkered flag is displayed to the Legend Cars field at Stafford Speedway’s season ending NAPA Fall Final Weekend on Sat., Oct. 1st, it will not only bring to an end the third full season of Legend Cars competition, but it will punch a direct ticket to the 2016 Legend Cars Nationals for the lucky feature winner.
The 2016 Legend Cars Asphalt Nationals will be held at Waterford Speedbowl on October 6-8. The 3-day Legend Cars extravaganza will give competitors a final chance to accumulate points for the 2016 season to determine their final position in the INEX National Point Standings. Stafford Speedway is represented in the national standings by Dana DiMatteo in 3rd place and Joe Graf, Jr. in 17th place in the Pro division with Noah Korner leading the Semi-Pro division and Teddy Hodgdon is 12th in the Semi-Pro standings. Durgan Wins Devil’s Bowl Speedway Asphalt Championship in a Tiebreaker
Masterson, McKiernan, Messier take season titles
WEST HAVEN, Vt. – Jason Durgan and Vince Quenneville Jr. put on the most dramatic stock car show of the year at Devil’s Bowl Speedway on Sunday, September 11. The two veteran drivers were the stars of the half-mile Asphalt Track during the Rutland County facility’s 50th season of racing and needed a tiebreaker to determine the track champion at the Vermont 200 Weekend. Durgan, of Morrisonville, N.Y., became a first-time Devil’s Bowl titleholder in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series and will share the championship stage this winter with Josh Masterson, Jim McKiernan, and rookie Eric Messier.
Durgan and Quenneville entered the two-day Asphalt Track finale tied in point standings, but Morrisonville, N.Y., racer Durgan pulled ahead by two points after a 50-lap race on Saturday afternoon. In Sunday’s “Leon Gonyo Memorial” 50-lapper, defending champion Quenneville, of Brandon, Vt., did all he could by winning the race – his fourth score of the year – as Durgan’s car struggled in traffic. The Bradford, Vt., veteran earned his win in the “Vince Quenneville Sr. Memorial” on Interstate All Battery Center of Rutland Night.
