Travis Benjamin prevails in PASS North Super Late Model thriller at Star Speedway
Epping, NH – Defending Pro All Stars Series North Super Late Model champion Travis Benjamin of Belfast, Maine nailed down his first race victory of the season, prevailing in a close battle versus Reid Lanpher to earn top honors in Saturday night’s Support 50 Legs 150 at Star Speedway in Epping, New Hampshire.
Benjamin’s paint-swapping battle with Lanpher was just the final entertaining duel on the racy quarter-mile oval for the lead. The Weirs GMC-sponsored racer turned back other challengers during the 150-lapper, most notably from Johnny Clark and Joe Squeglia, Jr.

Support 50 Legs 150 Up Next For PASS North At Star Speedway
NAPLES, ME (May 1) – A busy stretch for the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North Super Late Models continues this Saturday night at New Hampshire’s Star Speedway, and they will be racing for more than just a checkered flag. For the third year in a row, the Support 50 Legs 150 will help raise awareness for a cause affecting far too many Americans. Steve Chamberland’s 50 Legs organization helps provide amputees with the necessary care and prosthetics, that they could not otherwise afford, needed to live a happier and healthier life.

Squeglia Wins his Second Star Classic!
Epping, NH-
Last years winner of the Star Classic Joe Squeglia of Derry, NH dominated at Star all weekend, taking the win for the second year in a row. Squeglia and 2016 winner Derek Griffith of Hudson, NH both had fast practice times and won their respective heats on Friday.
John Peters of Westbrook, ME started on the pole with Griffith on the outside. Squeglia started third. Points leader Mike O’Sullivan of Springfield, MA started deep in the field in the 17th position. Nipping at O’Sullivan’s heals in the points chase, Scott MacMichael of New London, NH started fifth and Barry Gray of Belchertown, MA who is third in points started fourth in the field.

Epping, NH – Travis Benjamin of Morrill, Maine nailed down his first Pro All Stars Series victory of this season with a dominant performance in Saturday night’s Make-A-Wish 150 at Star Speedway in Epping, New Hampshire.
After swapping the early lead with six-time PASS North champion Johnny Clark in the opening laps, Benjamin pulled away from the pack, leading by almost four seconds by the time eventual runner-up Ben Rowe of Turner, Maine made it to second position.

Epping, NH – Leading early and often, Derek Ramstrom of West Boylston, Massachusetts earned his first Pro All Stars Series Super Late Model win this season in the Support 50 Legs 150 Saturday night at Star Speedway.
Ramstrom won his heat race to earn a front restarting position, then outdueled fellow heat race victor Joe Squeglia of Derry, New Hampshire over the first half of the event. Berwick, Maine’s Joey Doiron moved into contention, mounting a serious challenge to Ramstrom’s lead with just over 50 laps remaining.

Joey Polewarczyk nails down third PASS North victory in Make A Wish 150 at Star Speedway
Epping, New Hampshire – Joey Polewarczyk, Jr. of Hudson, New Hampshire earned his third Pro All Stars Series North Super Late Model victory of the season Friday night in the twice-postponed Make A Wish 150 at Star Speedway in Epping, New Hampshire.
Probably better known near and far as ‘Joey Pole Junior,’ Polewarczyk started the race in 13th position, methodically working his way through the field to take the lead away from Joey Doiron of Berwick, Maine in the JBJ Machine 73. Doiron had led most of the 150-lap race after taking the lead away from early leader Todd Stone of Middlebury, Vermont at the event’s quarter pole.
