The third round of Thursday Thunder at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway for the Amsoil Nelcar Legends Tour did not disappoint, as usual. 21 Legends Cars took to the track and they had a tough act to follow up after a great race last week. With Kirk, Hutchens and Dore starting at the rear, it would be interesting to see who would pull off the victory tonight.

SCARBOROUGH, Maine – Lonnie Sommerville broke through for his first career PASS North Series victory on Saturday night.
The Saint John, New Brunswick, driver led the final 34 laps at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway en route to winning the Southern Maine Motors.com 150. The victory was the first for Mulkern Racing this season.

Corey Bubar of Falmouth won the 35 lap NASCAR Sport Series race on Saturday night at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway. In other races Shawn Gilpatrick of Limerick won the 30 lap Wildcat race and Dave Cameron of Alfred was the winner of the 20 lap Road Runner race. With the Pro All Stars Series in town for the evening the Sport Series division took top billing for the NASCAR Whelan All American Series action.

Fredericton, NB – After watching Speedway 660 point’s leader Greg Fahey of St. Stephen lead the first 84 laps of the Parts for Trucks 100, Fredericton’s Shawn Tucker’s No. 52 car was good enough on the outside on the lap 83 restart to overtake Fahey en route to his first checkered flag of the Parts for Trucks Maritime Pro Stock Tour.
Starting ninth, Tucker moved quickly, but patiently to the front of the field. He was up to seventh by lap four, sixth by lap eight, and in the top five by lap 14.
