Dave Richardi Goes Pole to Checker at Seekonk Speedway

Seekonk, Ma- October 9, 2010- The RF Logic/ Bot- L Gas Pro Four Modifieds set pace at this weekend’s DAV Fall Classic at Seekonk Speedway. The Pro Fours were the first feature of the night, and put on quite a show. Dave Richardi and Phil Lausier brought the field to the green. As they took off #10 Brian Vincent got a little squirrely allowing Adam Norton to sneak under. After regaining pace, Vincent was able to get back by Norton and settle into single file.

ATLANTIC MONSTER TRUCK NATIONALS SET TO THRILL FANS ON SATURDAY AT THE CENTRE FOR SPEED

(Shediac, N.B.) — The Centre for Speed (CFS) is pulling out all the stops for its ‘ground rumbling’ ATLANTIC MONSTER TRUCK NATIONALS 2010 event.

On Saturday, October 16th, RAIN OR SHINE, the ground will definitely be shaking as FIVE top-ranked Monster Trucks invade the CENTRE for an afternoon of ‘outdoors and unleashed’ competition featuring side-by-side racing, freestyle, and wheelie competition events. This final motorsports event of 2010 will also include a full program of additional Thrasher division ‘Crash and Bang’ action, with a GIANT Demolition Derby, Full Contact Racing and an always unpredictable ‘Racing Blind’ event, where drivers must trust their co-pilots to get around the racing surface while blindfolded, as well as a ‘Burnout’ competition, which adds up to a ‘crush and bang’ afternoon of non-stop action.

Austin Theriault of Fort Kent, Maine, finished 11th in the final event of the ACT Late Model Tour 2010 season, the Waterford 150 at Waterford Speedbowl in Waterford, Conn., on Sunday, October 10. Theriault started 18th and inched closer to the Top-10 in the first half of the race — but a lack of caution flags late in the event cost the No. 57 Varney Insurance Ford valuable track position. Still, in his first full season of ACT competition, the 16-year-old driver posted five Top-10s in 10 starts and ended with a Top-10 finish in the overall standings.

Twin State Fall Challenge Features Modified Racing Series and Area Track Champions

Claremont, N.H. – When the green flag drops on the 3rd annual “Fall Challenge”

this weekend at Claremont’s Twin State Speedway, several area division champions

will be in competition, all part of the ten-division two-day race program scheduled, Oct 16 & 17; at the Upper Valley race facility.

In addition, Twin State will be the next to last stop on the Modified Racing Series

tour as that championship is still being contested. Local favorite and former Twin State champion, Dwight Jarvis of Acutney, VT, is in a heated battle for the 2010 title. Jon McKennedy, Chelmsford, MA, and Jacob Dore, Sanford, ME, both winners last year at Twin State, are just a few of the MRS drivers expected.

potential championship Sunday as he won the 100 lap Modified Racing Series, DAV
Fall Classic, at the Seekonk Speedway, Seekonk, MA. The race was McKennedy’s
third win and his 10th career victory with the New England based touring division, sponsored by Bob Valenti AutoMall.Com. McKennedy started on the pole and led the entire event. He also became the seventh different winner of the annual race at Seekonk.
